ABOUT US

The island provides a tranquil, rejuvenating retreat from today's bustling world. With the view of the backwaters on one side and a two minute walk to the ocean on the other, this little island retreat is perfect for a getaway.

Valiyaparamba is a 28km long island in Northern Kerala which can be reached by crossing the backwaters by boat from the Ramanthali boat jetty. Rowboats and a motorboat ply every half an hour. There is a new bridge on the other side of the island that can also be used.

M Villa is nestled among coconut trees and the symphony of the waves. Sri M wrote a major part of his autobiography, “Apprenticed to a Himalayan Master, A Yogi's Autobiography" in this cottage.

Seated in the veranda that surrounds the cottage on all sides, the view of calm backwaters on the one side and the frothy sea on the other offers a study in contrast.
